We are glad to present you TOTEMICA louge chair, designed by Claudio Bellini for Riva1920.
TOTEMICA is an upholstered chaise longue developed around the natural posture of the body and conceived to provide a continuous and balanced reclining position. The padded volume is available in fabric or leather and is supported by a solid wood shell set at a calibrated inclination. The base is carved from a single block of cedar and works as a central pedestal, ensuring stability while defining the vertical axis of the composition. The same material is used for the counterweighted headrest, which allows precise positioning, and for the optional side table, whose geometry recalls the profile of the base. The project is based on the relationship between soft upholstery and monolithic wooden elements, brought together in a clear and essential structure.
