Riva chair
Introducing the RIVA chair. First unveiled at SALONE 2026, RIVA was designed by Claudio Bellini for Natuzzi Italia and is a sculptural, enveloping dining chair.
Designed by Claudio Bellini for Natuzzi Italia, RIVA is conceived as a compact, enveloping upholstered volume. The wrap-around backrest flows into the integrated armrests, shaping a continuous silhouette that embraces the seat and gives the chair its sculptural presence.
A distinctive opening between the upper body and the rounded base interrupts the volume, introducing visual lightness and becoming a recognizable element of the design. The contrast between the embracing upper form and the solid base creates a balanced composition, where generous proportions are resolved through simple, controlled geometry.
