Aslı Erkun Dock Collection is solid, classic, natural, but with a sense of softness and lightness due to the curved lines and the smooth surfaces. Whenever we start drawing a sofa or an armchair, we actually start by wanting to design a space. In the case of Dock, we wanted to design a space capable of welcoming, containing, giving security, like a cradle or a fort. We wanted to evoke a natural, calming and relaxing environment. A place to feel safe, at home. We wanted to achieve the effect of a “solid embrace.”
