Urban bookcase for Casamania

Designer

Designer

The Urban bookcase was born from a simple concept: to create a single shape that can multiply infinitely without ever repeating itself. The result is an “L” shape of one meter by thirty-five and forty centimeters in depth, which can be used in any system without hooks or joints and allows the creation of dynamic walls, partitions, elements, horizontal and vertical corners, benches, and niches.
This solid, monolithic, timeless object, indifferent to fashion, hides a great technological challenge: to create a plastic element, polyethylene, with large planar surfaces by rotational molding. Challenge overcome thanks to careful research and Casamania’s technical expertise.
